Marfa is a 3-hour drive from El Paso International Airport (ELP). This route is the easiest drive, with only one turn onto U.S. Highway 90 at Van Horn.
Marfa is a 3-hour drive from Midland International Air & Space Port (MAF). This drive is slightly less scenic, but sometimes flights to and from Midland can be cheaper than similar ones to/from El Paso.
Marfa is a 6 hour drive from Austin. We don't recommend this route unless you have a desire to extend your trip to include a visit to Austin.
Airfare prices are slightly elevated right now. We recommend waiting until March or April to purchase tickets.
Closer to the date, we will help match those who prefer not to drive with those who are arriving at at a similar time with extra room in their cars.
Once you reach Marfa, the town is very walkable and there is plenty to discover on foot.
